Thinking of hitch-hiking around the solar system and beyond? NASA have created a rather wonderful series of travel posters to inspire your choice of stopovers. You can find them all on their website. The posters are free to download and use. Thanks to Vince Docherty, good friend of Satellite Conventions, for drawing these to our attention.

From Couch to Satellite5K
Julia Daly invites you to join "From Couch to Satellite5K", Satellite 5's fun run/walk. This is a unique opportunity for fans who would like to be fitter, but don’t have either the motivation or support, to work together through either the NHS Choices Couch to 5K Programme, or the less-strenuous BUPA Walk to Run Programme during the weeks leading up to Satellite 5, and then celebrate their success with a light jog or walk during the convention. There is a dedicated email address (satellite5k@satellite5.org.uk) to contact her, either for more information, or to sign up to take part.

Jaine Fenn pre-Con reading
Satellite 5 has linked up with Waterstones for a special event the evening before the convention. Jaine will be giving a reading at their Sauchiehall Street branch (153-157 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, G2 3EW) on Friday 27th May 2016, at 6:30 pm. All welcome!
