Glasgow Author Talks
Local members may be interested in talks organised under the auspices of the University of Glasgow Fantasy MLitt. The first take place on Tuesday 26th January, at 5:15 pm, in Room 202, 4 University Gardens. The speakers are well-known Glasgow-based authors Hal Duncan and Neil Williamson. The topic is 'The Borders of Fantasy'. All Welcome.

Congratulations, Trout!
Satellite 5 sends its congratulations to the Glasgow Science Fiction Group The Resurgence of Trout - which celebrates its 10th birthday on December 10th. Well done, and here's to the next 10!
Satellite 5 always likes a party so we are looking forward to the celebrations at The Edward Wylie on Thursday. To add to the fun, we will run the next leg of our exciting, fast-paced competition TopJig. Can anyone complete our floor jigsaw in under 3' 07'' and knock Chris off the top of the leader board? With a valuable prize for the winner its all to play for so come along, join in the fun and give it a try!

Satellite 5 at Novcon 45
It’s November and almost time for Novacon 45 with Guests of Honour Anne and Stan Nicholls. If you are there please drop by the Satellite 5 desk in the Dealers' Room. Get your picture taken with Eyes-SS, our cuddly space station, eat some free sugar or just have a chat. We also hope to run the first round of our new action-packed game – Top-Jig!
