Launch of Satellite 5
After a few scrubbed launches due to various hotel problems, the Expedition Command & Control Team is pleased to announce the official launch of Satellite 5, the latest of the Satellite Conventions. Satellite 5 will follow the now-traditional Satellite convention mould, bringing you plenty of 'Science Fiction ... Science Fact ... Science Fun', this time themed on space stations, orbital platforms, floating cities and anything else that might bob around space with people in it.
Our Guest of Honour will be Jaine Fenn, author of the Hidden Empire series. Jaine has been a regular convention goer and was Guest of Honour at Novacon 2012.
The convention will run on the 28th and 29th of May 2016 in the Glasgow Marriott hotel. You will find more information here on our website, along with details of how to join the convention at our special introductory rate (guaranteed up to 8th April 2015).
We will also be running a convention table at Dysprosium. So please drop by to pick up a copy of our prize ISS-themed crossword, take part in our speed jigsaw competition, steal some sugary goodness or just say 'Hi'. Oh, and don't forget to join Satellite 5.
